Recently, I found an interesting report about art market from Artfinder.com. This report is for 2017, but it is still interesting. The report is based on static data from the United States and Great Britain.
For example, from this report you can learn that approximately 55% of artists in Great Britain sell their work for 1-5000 Pounds a year. Or most of the artists live in Miami and 62% do not have a degree in Art.
None of the artists spends more than 30% of their time creating a piece of art. You will learn this and many other facts from the report that I attached to this article.
