The old Dutch masters influence my art works a lot.
For some time I lived in the Netherlands and there is a hint of this in my still life in the form of Wilhelmina's Dutch sweets. This work also depicts several white objects, but in different shades.
 
This art work was first painted in grisaille and then with the help of leeches it took on colour.
